  2. Definitely doable
  3. OP what is custody? Luckily, my ex has our kids 1st , 3rd, and 5th weekends. My sister will do one weekend a month, and I will have a sitter one weekend a month. My son is 11 and my daughter is 7. We luckily live in an apartment complex if need be I can also get a sitter to do drop ins. If your custody is like mine then weekends could totally work.
  4. So glad you asked this question I am recently divorced and in the same boat.
  5. Lewisville
  6. Congrats!!!!!!!! I was like huh...... wait this is so early! Where will you be commuting from?
  7. Accepted !!!!

  9. I really don't know of anyone except a lady that had a 68. She I think was wait listed and got in. Anything is possible.
  10. Good luck Jzel
  11. Good luck í ½í±í ¼í¿¿ í ½í¸Š
  12. We should know no later than August 15th and I believe orientation is in November. Do you know what color shoes they wear ? I think the emails go out over a 3 day period and I'm not sure if that's based on position on the list or last name.
  13. You never know .... the program average was 58, so don't count yourself out.
  14. Hey guys just wondering who has applied, and what were your TEAS Scores? Please don't just lurk let's be interactive and engaging as we await our admissions status. Good luck! I know that they started pulling scores today and applications. We should know in about 3 weeks. Can anyone tell me the color of their shoes?
  15. Such seedy lives outside the hospital....shhhhhhh...Florence Nightengale remember.....lol
  16. Toughen up Kid, don't let people define you. I'm a teacher and sometimes its you're just a teacher. Lol...just a teacher, no such thing. Vis a vis just a nurse, try counselor, healer, consoler, nutritionist, prayer warrior, psychologist, referee, advocate, strong tower. Girl bye! Never wear someone elses insecurities, it'll take you far trust me. Life lesson.
  17. Wow, that's absolute determination! Do you have family in the area, or are you going to commute the 3 hours each way daily on weekends? The great thing about nursing school is you will make some amazing friends and find a few couches along the way if necessary. Did you apply this round?
  18. Since when does a mere Bachelors degree afford anyone the right to be perceived or even act "snobbish"....Ph.D. maybe but come on a Bachelors really......that's laughable at best. Is this a nursing thing? Most of my collegues have master's degrees guess what nobody cares. I've met so far 4 LVNs with Ph.D's trust me they don't care. I'll be an LVN with dual Masters......again who cares? What matters is your level of expertise, your knowledge and your ability to deliver safe, competent care.
  19. Hi guys I so wish you the best. Unfortunately year 2 of my acceptance and I just can't seem to get the schedule in order, I hope my seat benefited someone. My husband is opening a new office, and with 3 kids I couldn't see how to swing our demanding schedule. But in due time! I will reapply for the next round and I'm sure I'll be accepted again. I wish you all the best this coming semester, and hope to encounter you guys as you prepare for graduation. Work hard, listen, and take every opportunity to learn and perfect your craft. I'll see you guys in 2018! FutureLVN I'm so happy that you were accepted!
  20. Get a life. Lol.
  21. I have an undergrad degree in English, as well as a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages -and I swear I'm less annoyed than most of y'all...excuse me you guys LOL.
  22. Walmart 198-don't waste your money if you don't have to.
  23. In my biggest magnolia sweetened smile.... Then honey you must not be from the South..... Y'all --you all is very much a word reflective of our local color and regionalism.
  24. Don't do it. Work PRN as tech in a hospital you'll get invaluable experience, network, work when you'd like, get resume experience and get paid.
