I am a Nurse Management Consultant with 40 consistent years of experience in clinical Nursing. I originally trained in a Diploma program (and still bemoan the demise of that type education). I subsequently received a BSN and MS in Healthcare Administration. My practice was focused in Surgical Services and Pediatric Intensive Care, first as a clinical practitioner then primarily as a Nurse Manager. For the last 10 years I have worked specifically in Quality Assurance and Risk Management in Administration.
