Yep all those are good. Then once in pathophysiology you'll get a decent pathophysiology book. But learn anatomy, physiology, and pathogy first. That plenty to get you started. Good
Weird comment. Pay has so many variables across the nation the input of "you make less than someone else" without much more information is useless to the
OP, what "Dermatology school" are you talking about. There is none in Florida. The only true dermatology for NP in the country is lahey, and that's a residency post graduation. All others you have...
Lol :) appreciate the confidence. I like your counter arguement that it depends on the questions. Aren't all question on a compentency test considered valid and within an NP's scope. I guess not all...
Agreed. The APEA are better questions. Unfortunately leik makes it very obvious what the answer is. Good for memorization but that's honestly all it is
Not impressed with your ability to place words in my mouth. I will take the person that is logical and understands the lack of rigor that the test presents over someone who pretends to boost her own...
Nah, I'll judge from the information I've experienced. Soon enough, l'll post "how difficult" it was. How I was prepped and ready to pass boards before midway through my program. As evidenced by...
If it makes you feel better you are not alone. I honestly feel if people thought about it objectively most would be disturbed. But many have a foot in the race so they rationalize that it isn't that...
Again minimum, which to the OP's question is indeed to low atleast in my opinion. To each their own I guess. Like I said it benefits share holders in the profession, students etc just not the public...
Difference between USLME and ours would be yes low initial pass but need to score high to get any decent residency so take that with consideration. Yes the minimum standard is very low. NP schools...
I object because I know only the best NP's don't only get hired. It's flawed logic. In theory only the best get hired but we all know that's not true. Second I am well aware of the US news rankings....
Again all weak arguments. The best in any field will always get a job. But generally speaking to tell someone to go towards an overall saturated field is wrong. This is especially wrong by spinning it...
The argument still at is core and relevant to the OP is to many people are in NP school. Which by the numbers is a fact. Btw that 53,000 number I referenced is the BLS projected number over a ten year...
To close my argument I will leave you with this. That 53k number I mention from the bureau of labor statistics is CRNA, midwives and all NP professions. Are we really going to play this game that...
Another fun fact. AANP had 14836 people take the test in 2016. With the pass rate I have already mentioned 12,106 people passed for family. Then take ANCC for family in 2016 5107 people took the test....
If we are really going to pick apart every word someone says here is a fun one. 81.6% to be exact and that is only first time test takers. No where do they disclose how much we can cram the second go...
