  1. I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer by searching. How long does it take for the RN license to be mailed? I have a position where I need to get in my license. Thanks!
  2. Congrats. But you might want to look into your anxiety a bit. Being that worked up is not a good thing.
  3. Oh that's good to know. I know my test will be different from yours but it's nice to hear that!
  4. Congrats! How do you think the test was compared to how you studied? Did you get a lot of SATA?
  5. That's what I'm hearing which hopefully is a good thing! I got a 34% and SATA are my worst type of questions. I know to approach them as true/false but they're still really hard! How do you think the ones on the NCLEX compared?
  6. Just curious, how fast were you?
  7. I think Kaplan was great. It allowed me to see that many questions are similar when you do so many over and over. I don't think I would get the scores on Kaplan tests, or any other tests for that matter, without them. I've done Kaplan and Saunders and that's it. I'm taking my test on Sunday and I FEEL CONFIDENT. No one ever says that, and sure I'm nervous, but that doesn't mean I can't believe in myself.
  8. It's not really about global nursing, it's about seeing if you have the MINIMAL skills needed to be a competent new nurse. They're not expecting us to be expert nurses right away.
  9. From reading all these posts about people who take the NCLEX you hit the nail right on the head. The #1 thing you need to pass the NCLEX is confidence in your self.
  10. It sounds like you have a lot of content under you belt and need to work on strategies. You might just not know how to critically think through the question. Try going over Kaplan's strategies and apply the decision tree. That might help you.
  11. Failing because of missing a drug calculation is absolutely not true. What made you think that it was? That's like saying you fail if you get one SATA wrong.
  12. I'm sure you did great! :) Do something fun while you wait for results!
  13. Just calm down. There's nothing you can do now but wait. Besides you got the good pop up so that's promising. Try to sit outside or go for a walk. Watch some movies, go shopping, anything that you enjoy. The wait is terrible but you'll pull through! I'm taking mine in 10 days and all my friends that took it said that the wait is the worst part.
