  1. Strawberryluv!!! Thank you soo much for advising me to keep going with saunders, actually it really helped me and I passed NCLEX about 2 weeks ago with 75 questions. I was very confident with the questions I was having throughout the exam. I think as long as you know your content you cannt fail board exam. Im so greatful that you encouraged me to stick with saunders..... I did about 5000 questions from saunders and read every single page of this book. PDA also helped me lot, Hurst brushed up my knowledge at the end and Kaplan q trainers boosted my confidence... God bless you!!!

  7. Here in BC, its called CLPNBC (College of licensed practical nurses of BC), so depend upon which province you live in, you can contact them. I know many foreign trained nurses who worked as LPN's and now they work as RN ( because CRNBC takes longer to process everything) There is nothing wrong in contacting them as worst they can say is ''no'' to you. But at the same time study hard and pray for your nclex
  8. Hi Canadian RN Dont think that far, just study hard and pray. Same happened to me too. Student who never payed attention towards studies in class and been on facebook at the back seat have passed nclex and I failed nclex. I dont think every state in US offers unlimited nclex intakes. In regards to LPN in canada, You need to speak to College of LPN's in your province, they will assess your credentials. If LPN can be RN after doing 2 years accelerated programme why cannt you be a LPN. I dont see any problem but again they are the one who will make decision. If you want to apply for LPN exam then start the paperwork asap as from january next year even LPN's will have to pass nclex in canada All the best :)
  9. Hey dont stress, I failed nclex few months back. Even we brought house thinking that I would pass and help my husband financially, I had little one aswell. But it didnt happen as we planned. I had biggest support from my hubby, and thats how it should be, we are supposed to support each other through thicks and thins. There are always ups and downs in our personal lives. There were distractors behind my failure. You will pass, enjoy the special moment in your life. After that take studying as full time job. I know its really hard as I have been through it. Pray and calm down, god must have planned something very special for you. Anyways congrats and best wishes for your wedding :)

  14. Hi I have been studying saunders since couple of months and since last 2 weeks im doing about 200 questions from saunders everyday, scoring between 70 -80%, I have also watched hurst videos and reviewing hurst book aswell, do u think its good enough or I should practice quesions from different resources too. some peeps say saunder questions are too easy. BTW im doing questions from PDA by linda Lacharity aswell.. Your advice will be really appreciated. My exam is during mid of august thanks in advance :)
  15. Thank you Lindarn 2015 my story is quite similar to you, only difference is that I still waiting to sit for nclex. Once I failed NCLEX I felt as if my world collapsed. There are individuals who passed remarks on me, made me feel as if Im very careless person who didnt take nclex seriously. I was told that I have ego problem thats why I failed my test. It took me nearly 6 weeks to start studying again, but now im full of confidence and have lot of improvement in my knowledge and planning to go for test 1st week of august.. Thank you so much for your post. You dont know how your post made me feel better. God bless you and wishing for your good health
  16. Hi I think its normal to freak out. I failed my nclex couple of months ago and the biggest reason behind my failure was poor content knowledge. there are students out there who just do questions and pass nclex and I think they have good content knowledge thats why they score good with questions, otherwise you end up doing too many wrong questions. I focused on saunders for content review and going through it page by page and have almost finished the book. I also practice questions just to get into that mode but I started off with reviewing the core content. kaplan has good eliminating strategies, so I think its good one. As long as we have strong content knowledge and use elimination process, we can pass nclex. I also find pharma hard, but I try to memorize the common adverse effects and focus on other imp areas... I hope it helps...all the best
  17. Hi Congrats on Passing NCLEX!! I failed my nclex 1st time and now planning to write in august. I had content knowledge weakness as I had new born baby and was unable to study at all. I made huge mistake scheduling my nclex soon after having baby. Now that I have been studying since last 2 months and have help with baby, Im feeling confident. I study Saunders, have access to kaplan and hurst review. I revise content more than doing questions...do u think its ok to do that. And what should I focus on more??? thanks
  18. Hi Congrats!! Can you plz email me the medication pages. I have other one [email protected] thanks
