  1. Congratulations! You just scan every piece of required information into the correct place. Your CPR, shot records, physical, etc. Just upload the documents and they will review them and either approve or deny them. Classes start August 24th
  2. I am! Congratulations!! I've heard it's a good program and prepares you for the ADN program pretty well.
  3. Is anyone else going to be commuting from the grand prairie/Mansfield/Arlington area??
  4. Oh wow!!! Well I'm already going to be making about a 40 minute commute so hopefully they try and accommodate my commute lol. I've heard so many good things about Weatherford so I am very excited! What can we expect from Orientation?
  5. That is great! I've heard Cooks was hard to get hired at even for BSN's!! Congratulations on that! Are you doing LVN to RN at Weatherford? And again about the clinicals..I'm going to assume most of them are in Ft.Worth right?
  6. Oh wow! Sounds intense but I'm so ready for it!!! Thank you for all the info! Was it difficult for you to find work after graduation or are you working on your RN?
  7. Thanks for the info PD82!!! How long were the clinicals? 8 or 12 hours? And just one day a week right?
  8. Thank you! Just have to complete the checklist now. Does anyone know where the previous classes do their clinicals?
  9. I'm in!!!!! Just got a call from KL today!
  10. No word yet but I will let you know! I'm anxious!!!
  11. Yea, CPR is a requirement but it wasn't in the letter, it is online on the website. It's just good to get a head start from what I've heard
  12. Yes maam. Most of it I already completed. What takes the longest will probably blue card but I already did that a few months ago.
  13. I got alternate! Hoping for the best. I was told they have used all alternates the past 2 semesters
  14. Congratulations! I got alternate too. KL said they went from 7 to 2 points for alternates this application period. They used all alternates the last two semesters so there is hope!
  15. LVN. But both are coming out though. I just asked KL what number I am on the alternate list, still no reply. I'm sure her email is flooded right now lol
  16. I actually got my alternate letter today. They may be coming sooner than we thought
  17. I thought as much. Thanks for the update and good luck!
  18. Yea, I agree. June is way too late...a bit unrealistic. I hope I at least get an alternate position. Have you completed the checklist? I work at a clinic so I have my CPR and immunizations done.
  19. June?! She told me May latest. Hmm, not sure I like the inconsistencies. June seems a bit late to get letters out!
  20. Yep, it dropped that much! I have doubts about getting in since I only have 7 points. Anyone have any updates from KL?
  21. When I spoke to KL yesterday , she said the class size was dropping from 35 to 25. I'm still very nervous myself. I only have 7 points
  22. Yea, I just spoke with KL and she said class size is going down to 25 from 35. I'm hoping to at least be an alternate. I have 7 points
  23. Oh okay! Congratulations! How is the program so far? How many points did you have?
  24. Hello! I have applied to Weatherford College LVn for Fall 15. I was wondering if there were any other applicants out there or former students from last year who can give some insight on the proccess and the point system. I will be applying with 10 points, I believe.
