  1. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Oh man, this is still here?! Lol. Yes yes yes I finally graduated. The path wasn't without its hardships. I had surgery and it delayed me quite a bit. I haven't started only because I'm deciding between staying at my job or moving into St. Luke's to ...
  2. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Haha, no biggie. There are two different types of rooms. Some are singles and some are doubles. The women often have roommates, but I think it's randomly assigned, but you get a questionnaire so that they can at least try to assign someone with a sim...
  3. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Hey there! I had all of my pre-reqs done before I applied. I'm coming from the Philadelphia area, so I actually stay on campus and come home on the weekend. They're split (men on 3rd floor, women on the 2nd). It's a very quiet area and everyone in to...
  4. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Just an update, but I've officially been accepted into the RN program! I'm so incredibly excited!
  5. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Thanks @Raviepoo. That is much appreciated. I'm still waiting and I'm super nervous. The interview was awesome, but the longer the wait is the more uncertain I am about being accepted. Still praying I get in! I'm hopeful
  6. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Hi all. Just wanted to post an update in case anyone was following. The interview was really great. All positive comments and a few times one of the interviewers said "I really like you. There's something I see in your mind .. A spark that makes me w...
  7. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Thanks for your input, and yes, you did put it into perspective for me. Some programs even say that bring an LPN doesn't exclude you from their other requirements. The interview is next week. I hope I leave a good impression with them.
  8. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

The thing is I'm in courses already for the LPN program. I just wondered if there would be a problem if I left this program to accept that seat. I definitely would leave to accept if they offer me a seat
  9. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

I think I'd do well in the program. I only started here to bridge my way up because I thought it'd be better than just waiting and doing some classes over. I just didn't know if there would be an issue if I wanted to drop here to accept the seat. You...
  10. Leaving LPN to accept RN seat?

Hi everyone, It has been a while since I've come to the board. Unfortunately I didn't get accepted into the programs that I applied to, so I ended up starting an LPN program just so I can start bridging my way up. I'm about two months in and I just g...
  11. I had my sights on Dixon. I'll begin looking just to see what else there is out there, but i really had my heart set on Abington. June 26th is another long wait >_
  12. Ah man. I was placed on the waitlist also, but I don't give up hope. I still think I was in a really good place. It said its because of my preference in class choice. Is that the same reason for everyone?
  13. Mother dearest called me and said there's a letter from Dixon for me at home. My stomach just turned inside out. I'm so nervous!
  14. They said don't interview everyone. I think they do either to put a face to the application, or have the applicant explain something. When I went in there was a focus on a group of W's I had from a few years ago. It was because of a car accident. The...
  15. I applied late December, took my TEAS early January and interviewed mid-late January (can't remember the date)
