    I only applied to UNC as well, I live in the area and don't really have the option to move outside of the Triangle. I previously applied to Duke and decided to turn it down because it was so expensive...

    About one month left till we are notified! From previous threads they usually get their letters mid-October.. i'm just ready to know! I think any volunteer experience is a positive thing honestly.....

    Good memory! I did get into Duke but the financial aspect didn't work out like i'd hoped. UNC is a more reasonable option for me
