Decided to pursue a Nursing degree due the job market for Radiology and CT technologist is not as promising in NM. A native of New Mexico would prefer to stay in NM since my family is here. With shortage of Nurses hoping that I can have better luck finding regular weekday employment in Nursing in New Mexico compared to Radiology which is non-existent. Figured it can't hurt to have 2 degrees in Medical field. I have enjoyed working in medical as a Registered/Certified CT technologist and Radiology technologist for 13 years. Feel my current job with give me an advantage while pursing my Nursing degree. Will look forward to continuing to care for other. Which I love doing. 😊
