Hi everyone! I've recently been accepted into USA's MSN-DNP FNP program for Spring 2024 and looking to see who else is getting ready to start this program! Also looking to get insight from people currently in the program.
I'm applying to the MSN-DNP FNP program at USA. I know students have to find their own clinical preceptors. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if clinical start first semester or after all the FNP courses are complete. I looked at the curriculum...

I'm in the same situation. I have a MSN in Leadership and management. I ultimately decided on post masters NP so I could break up my schooling and start working. Then I will go back for DNP. Also, I don't want any more student loans so I will pay as ...
I completed the leadership program so I'm unsure. I'm interested in the post master's FNP. Hopefully someone that's done their FNP program already will respond.
I've done WGU's Leadership MSN. They sent me an email this week about their new post masters NP Program for FNP and PMHNP. I'm going to look into it. Are you aware of their new program?
I completed my leadership MSN at WGU in 2021. Today I got an email about their new post masters FNP and PMHNP programs. Did anyone else get this email? Would anyone give the program a try?

Sorry you had a horrible experience with this school and thank you for sharing your experience. The more aware everyone becomes of these unfavorable NP programs, the better chances we have of getting rid of these diploma mills (hopefully).
Hi everyone! I've seen several posts on this site about WGU potentially starting a FNP program. I'm currently in their BSN-MSN Leadership and Management program. I received an email from the College of Health Sciences about the FNP program starting t...

I did not apply to this school but it’s on my list of potential programs for AGPCNP. I’m torn between going back for NP or going into leadership. Hopefully others that applied to this program will respond. Please update the thread with your progress!

I’m new to the home therapy dept (2 weeks) at my job and even though I’ll be doing home hemo dialysis I’ll be cross trained for PD as well. Our dept is small, only 5 of us including our nurse manager and we work M-F 8-4:30. The PD nurses rotate call ...
Hi everybody! I posted in the past that I was interested in giving dialysis nursing a try. Well I just accepted a position with DCI. I tried long term care but it’s not working out like I though so I decided to finally take the leap and try dialysis....

I’m so glad you’re enjoying acutes! Maybe I’ll try it one day. I would be nervous about being on my own but at the same time I would love it once I felt comfortable enough. What is your schedule like?

Just wanted to give an update since it’s been a while! So things started out pretty good but then got rough because my preceptor and I weren’t a good match and the clinic I was assigned to was extremely fast paced. It was too overwhelming for me. So ...

Everything definitely moves fast! Sometimes I feel like it moves a bit too fast, but I’m going to do the best I can to keep up! Hopefully I continue to like it because some of the patients are asking me not to leave!
