I mostly like the hospital because of the acuity and experience I get. I don't get to see as much in LTC as in ICU as a PCT.

I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of working on hospice and oncology unit.

Nurses are stressed and don't know how to deal with it without taking it out on others. it really depends who and where you work because I get treated so well on orthopedics, but not in telemetry. It just depends.

You at least need an LPN to start working in a nursing home. But, if you want to work in a hospital on hospice/ palliative, you will at least need an RN now-a-days. But, a BSN will make you more marketable.

Get that yr exp in a hospital and you will be marketable in c-bus

I do . If you want to be competitive, you must be a BSN student and get an internal tech job to get a nursing job at the hospitals.
