That is very astute of you. If I ever claimed to be an RN, it would be even more astute. I still have opinions, but if you would rather me not share them, fine. I won't.

Maybe you and your coworkers could accept her not paying the overtime for a few months and then sue the hospital. They probably wouldn't be too happy with her.

What I find amazing is that in the midst of the 'shortage', all you have to do is call agency, and viola, as many nurses as you could ever want. I agree with those that think it is a pay issue.

Lots of different opinions here, wow. For me, I am taking my breaks if I have to call the house supervisor to come down and watch my patients. If I get fired, or license taken, fine, it wasn't meant to be. I am not a slave.
