  2. Wow- thank you! How many days/week did you have to be on the Ashburn campus during the first and second semester?
  3. Hey Mindy! I just sent a quick question about days on campus vs clinicals. Trying to decide if I should live in VA during the first part of the program instead of DC. You are the best! Thanks!
  4. Yeah! Here it is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/670181749709689/
  5. To those accepted- we just set up a Facebook page under the name "GW ABSN Class of 2015 Fall Entry".
  6. I'll be there! I'm a DC resident too. We started a FB page under the name "GW ABSN Class of 2015 Fall Entry" for easier communication.
  7. Gkarlholm - I just messaged you too.
  8. Yay! Just messaged you. Let me know if you dont get it.
  9. Yessss! Got the letter!
  10. Mindylane- this is just so incredibly awesome- thank you so much! I PM'd you too.
  11. Congrats Mindy! I just tried to PM you but your inbox is full. I was accepted into the GW program last week. I have been out of school for awhile with no healthcare background so I am a little nervous about the accelerated pace of the program. How many hours did you typically spend studying outside of class per week? Did it decrease as the program went on? Were you able to find mentorship through any of the professors?
  12. Also- anyone hear from Washington hospital center regarding interviews for the scholarship?
  13. Yay! I'm so excited for fall! I live in DC, so I will likely be commuting for class. Hoping to get accepted into the W2 program so that I can just bike to clinicals at WHC! I also have family that lives in Reston and plan to stay with them when I am short on time for class, which will probably most of the first semester :) If I didn't already have my life set up in DC, I'd probably move to Ashburn to be as close to the school as possible. I think you will find some affordable options in the area around the school. I'm excited to spend some time outside of the city- lot's of great hiking out there! If you have any other questions, let me know. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
  14. It took 4 and a half weeks to get a decision after my application was sent to the committee, but they did tell me it could take much less than that...
  15. Just got the email- it was good news. Phew!
  16. I havent heard anything yet!
  17. I just heard from the admissions office that decisions are still pending. And all applicants are encouraged to apply for the scholarship, even without knowing our admissions decision by the scholarship deadline. I really hope we hear on Friday....
  18. Thanks for the heads up. I am still waiting as well. Longest March ever.
  19. No!!! Learning a whole new level if patience during this nursing school application process... :)
  20. Still waiting! Don't worry :)
  21. To those accepted- did they give you a timeframe by which you needed to submit your deposit? Trying to figure out how to strategize the timelines of various schools... Congrats to all!!!!
