  1. Most of us in this thread won't start until late August. I don't know about everyone else, but I personally couldn't give you any insight as to the program yet...the classes are twice during the week and clinicals vary depending on the semester. I applied to Drexel's 24 month program and relinquished my seat in the class. The schedule is not friendly to those who work full time. However, their facilities are great. They have a full on mock doctor's office and hospital beds with those mannequin simulators. It was very nice. It's also super expensive.
  2. Yes and yes. I finished everything except the 3rd Hep B vaccine. Can't get that until September. It STILL says I'm not compliant, even though you know who told me I'd be able to do clinical without the 3rd (as long as it gets done). I started another group since I never heard back from mrswrightnow and couldn't find it on Facebook. If you'd like the link, PM me and I'll invite you! :)
  3. I cannot create it without adding one of my friends. I think that's odd.
  4. I responded and never got a response. If she doesn't get back to us, we can just start the group. I tried looking the page up but nothing.
  5. I'll message you for the information!
  6. I'm finished with all of my classes as of April. Just waiting to start. :) Does anyone know what the nursing kit consists of?
  7. Yeah, I applied to their 24 month program. They told me I shouldn't really be working if I went through the program. The setup is way too intense with my full time job, so I had to decline. I wish I had it like that to be able to do just school!
  8. Oh no, you'll definitely be seeing me in August lol. I applied to two other schools and declined both offers. It's always been La Salle for me. 😁
  9. Congratulations! 👏
  10. It was a physical letter for me. I hope you get yours soon!
  11. Anyway, I'm super excited! I've heard such good things about the program. I hope more people pop their heads in. Maybe we can make a Facebook group or something.
  12. I'm going to message you. :)
  13. Complio is more tedious than anything. Thankfully a good chunk of the stuff is one time only.
  14. Hi! I did all of them at CCP. How about you? Oh good. I definitely need to try clothes on before I order! Thanks!
  15. I'm more confused because all their deadlines give you 0.2 seconds to reply. And apparently the uniform people visited over a month ago? I would have really liked to have tried them on because my body doesn't follow measurements lol.
  16. I got the letter today! I'm definitely attending. Anyone else?
  17. I read ahead of the professor, if possible. That way, if I really couldn't understand something, I could anticipate it and ask more detailed questions in class. I took pictures of a lot of the models in preparation for the lab practicals.
  18. I haven't received anything from them. I just sent in my final transcripts from CCP. How did you do? I have no clue how they fill their seats. This makes me nervous. 😑
  19. I won't say I'm a nursing student until I sit in for my first semester of nursing school.
  20. Just finished my last prerequisite... Maintained a 4.0 throughout. This is coming from someone who claimed to dislike science... I ended up loving it. Congrats to all and good luck!
  21. I had 22 credits. It took me two years to complete working full time.
  22. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't ramp yourself up like that... That self talk will just end up making you feel worse. Seek your school's tutoring services, if they have any. If you were doing okay before, maybe it was just the last few concepts tying you up. It's okay to feel like you might not be a master at something - we've all been there. Seek the tutoring real quick if it's available, don't beat yourself up so badly, and good luck.
  23. Ah, thank you! I do not have any more classes, thank the universe. I'm going to soak in as much as I can before classes begin...I know it'll be tough once it begins. Again, best of luck on the whole process, but I'm sure you won't be needing it. :)
  24. That depends on the program and your area. In Philadelphia, that would be a tough sell, but that may not be the case in your area. As above, you need to really focus on all of your future classes. AP is the foundation of nursing.
