  1. UTHSCSA School of Nursing Class of Fall 2016
  2. You should call them. They emailed me twice before letting me know I was accepted.
  3. I believe email is their way to contact us; thats how they notified me about my status :)
  4. American heart association > cpr > bls healthcare providers > and then you'll find the courses schedule and availability
  5. Marcelas28, I am sorry to hear that. However, I am sure there is another plan for you :) you will be a great nurse!!!
  6. Im in!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Yes, but thats tamhsc. I mean, one of the requirements to even be considered at uthscsa is to have at least 51 credits including all science and math. So that example would not apply to our situation... Female or male with good gpa and teas score are in the same folder of applicants :) Good luck to all of us!! This week is going to be a loooong one
  8. They need qualified applicants; those with a better chance (according to the school) of becoming great nurses: female or male :) I do not think they look at gender
  9. I thought someone said we were going to hear either tuesday or wednesday
  10. Positive thoughts!! We all did our best, right? So, we will be just fine :) "When you really want something to happen, the whole world conspires to help you achieve it." Paulo Coelho
  11. Tomorroooooww?? Whaaat? I was preparing myself mentally to get the news next week!! Tomorrow is almost here I mean, I want to know!! But omgg!!!
  12. How was your appointment? :)
  13. Next weeks guys.... I am nervous/excited/anxious/positive... :) btw, if you all want to add me on fb: Danila Larrotta
  14. I was also going!! But too expensive for my pocket now hahaha Going to cowboys this saturday for billy currington instead :)
  15. My boyfriend's birthday is next week.... I better get accepted, so we can celebrate both things :)
  16. Marcelas28.. Haha yes :) also, how much did you pay?
  17. marcelas28, yes same here! For me it is a similar # yet not the same one.
  18. When the system generated your form... Does the ORI # matches the one in the instructions the university sent us?
  19. There is not deadline or something for the cpr as long as it is done before registration. I am just trying to get things out of the way as soon as I can. Even though we do not get accepted (that is not going to happen) it is something that would still be useful , and you'll need it sooner or later. About the certification, you take the test and if you pass it they will give the certification to you at the moment (I think this depends on where you do it, but most of the ones I have heard of do it this way) And about the type of cpr they require, it is on their website, and I called and asked. BLS healthcare providers through the American Heart Association. :)
  20. Cristal601, No. I found it on their website: Admissions > undergraduate > learn more about immunizations > student immunization record :)
  21. Peeeeople :) I was wondering if any of you have the bls healthcare providers student manual? I decided to do my cpr certification in houston because is easier for me (I could not go today) and in houston they charge me 55$ PLUS 15$ for the book :/ If any of you can borrow me the book I would highly appreciate it :) thanks in advanced!
  22. I am from Venezuela living in The Woodlands :)
  23. I am doing my cpr certification this saturday from 9-1pm at cpr heart of angels (6914 wurzbach road) 55$ including the book. Just in case anyone wants to join me :)
  24. For the immunizations, Do you guys know if this form is the only thing we need to send them?
  25. Megandee12, I emailed the university asking that, and they said it is ok to do it online as long as it is the bls for healthproviders
