At least she had a chance to reapply. The nursing school that I attended to does not allow students to reapply to the same program. If you twice, they say, it's time for another major.

It was two different courses. It's funny I try to study more but I ended up not doing that well. I really wanted to be a nurse but maybe God is telling me something different.

Dang!!! 500 applicants!! I wonder how many applicants they take for the semester. The schools in Texas are very competitive. That's why I applied out of state

I do not understand why they have to wait until July...to hear if someone is accepted or rejected to the program. That's crazy.

Someone told me that their pass rate for the state board was low. The faculty are extremely racist and I heard this from more than 5 people. Their program was extremely hard for no reason. I heard so many bad things about it.

thanks. trust me texas schools turned away students with almost 4.0 gpas. it too competitive down here. everyone wants to be a nurse in texas. luckily, i had a friend that told me to apply out of state. i did and i got accepted to 2 schools

i am from houston, texas. it is very competitive to get in the adn and especially the bsn program. i have about a 3.5 gpa and i still got rejected to those schools. the school i applied to (texas woman's univ) took applicants who had a 3.8 gpa or hig...
