    Thanks all for great feedback. Appreciate it. I am thinking of developing an application that would enable hospitals to manage and improve alarm policies. If I want to pilot such a product, which hospital should I appraoch?

    So in your opinion, what % of alarms should be turned off? I guess as hospitals try to implement this NPSG, they will be turning off some permanenetly, turning off some or lowering volume certain hours (such as night?)

    Sarakjp- That might be a good solution for you. But on a hospital level with multiple devices (IV, Enteral, Vital....) not to mention dying battery on a WoW, do you think some policy is needed? Maybe what you are doing is a "best practice" and others...

    Why would bed alarms be treated any differently? Trying to understand. All of these alarms from IV Pump, to Low Battery on WoW to Fall risk devices contribute to alarm fatigue in my view.
