Better to have a bunch of applicants waiting and retrying then to completely cut off any possible candidates. When a shortage does (and will) happen there will be plenty of people to pick and choose from in the waiting pool.

I always thought that the GPA requirements were more like "guidelines" because if you made the grades to pass nursing school then your competent to be a RN. I guess they have to do something to weed out all the applicants they get.

Why would it be a problem telling the branch your interested in that your applying to multiple branches?

Im only going off what each branches website says for age requirements. again, it would be a good idea to talk to the health care recruiter and find out for certain what it is.

As jfratian said, I believe the maximum age you can apply for a direct commission or at least be able to commission is by age 42. You could always talk to a health care recruiter from the branches your interested in and the worst thing they will tell...

Well part of the plan is to have the Navy / Army pay for my CRNA education. So that's off the experience check list for me. Ill just have to check with the Army Health Care recruiter next time he calls.
