Confirming this... I'm in upstate NY and after my LPN program I'm hoping to get right into the RN program at my local community college. The admissions page lists nothing about work experience and only an active LPN license.

New York here - we had to do an essay on why we wanted to become a nurse when we applied to the program and then after taking the TEAS test we had to do a personal essay.

Breathe. You'll do great. I'm nervous and anxious as hell, too. I think we all are right before school starts. :) If you decide to change your mind later, that's fine! You are not eternally bound to nursing if you decide it isn't for you. :)

You will make more money and have more career options with your RN.

I went on a Friday to get my immunizations. I had tetanus and MMR, then went two days later (Sunday) to have the titer read for MMR and hep b. They called me Tuesday with my results. So in total, 4 days.
