In my opinion smc is better... I finished my pre reqs there and also got accepted to their rn program for spring(I turned it down because I want to go to la county)

Ok I looked up my paperwork again because I'm going in tomorrow and the tdap should be gotten... I didn't realize the t in tdap meant tetanus lol

Oh ok, thanks! I mailed off my financial aid stuff I didn't wanna have to go up there again lol my car is broken at the moment so everything is by bus unfortunately

Whatever you don't have though they should be able to do there... Atleast that was my understanding lol

A titer is a blood test that tells you if you are immune to something like something you're vaccinated against.. That's why we have to get booster shots because our body loses immunity or it just doesn't take at all.. Some programs make you get titer...

I got the hep b titer just in case.. And tetanus?? Is that a requirement? I haven't looked over the papers in a couple weeks but that one seems a bit.. Random lol

I think so.. When I called to make my appt the lady asked me if I had my vaccination records or titers.. I know we are supposed to fill out that part if the paperwork too but it's a little confusing

They do not share transcripts... I sent my transcripts to myself and then hand delivered along with my application the ones to the nursing school. The ones for admissions I sent directly to the school.

Lacc was my last resort. I imagine their lottery system is the reason why they have such low nclex pass rates

Yeah me too but some of the books like the fundamentals and med surg books are like $130 each Thank goodness for prime because I don't think I can spend $30 more on shipping

I ordered my books already... I didn't even get all of them but I spent around $600 ? lol however, I did get a couple of supplemental books that have been recommended over and over

I just got a letter from lacc today about the nursing program... I'm sure there are some people who accepted their spot at la county who wanted to go to lacc will be declining their spot... Cross your fingers you'll hear something soon
