Does anyone have a peds assessment form or flowsheet? We start peds clinicals this weekend and although I have a plethora of information, I am having trouble putting it all together in one form. Thank you in advance!

What if you have a degree other than a BSN - I have a BA. Will that help this ADN student get a job?

I just finished OB and had the most miserable instructor ever. She actually was upset because everyone in our evening program passed the course! Where do schools GET these people?

Hi everyone. I am starting an ADN program at Alamance Community College in Burlington, N.C. I graduated years ago from Pfeiffer University with a B.A. in English, but always wanted to be a nurse. I am so excited and terrified!

I am 60, have a BA in English and went through last year's pre-reqs with straight A's. I start nursing school in August. You are never too old - I am having the time of my life!

To all you youngsters - take heart! I finished prereqs with A's and was just accepted this week into an ADN program (I have a BA in English!) If I can do it, you can do it too - I just turned 60!!!!!!!!

You go, girl! I am a 60 year old grandmother! I have taken all the prereqs and am waiting to hear this week about admission to nursing school. You will do GREAT in your courses and be the envy of all your friends for pursuing a new, exciting career!

Here, but buried under A&P book! If the muscles don't get me, the neurons will! Test Tuesday on muscle function, nervous system and spinal cord - agghhhhhh!

Well, Grandma (me) is taking A&P also this Fall. I studied hard and got an A in Human Biology, but have heard that A&P is a whole new ballgame. I saw the anatomy coloring books at the bookstore yesterday (Barnes & Noble) and am planning to get one - I think it will be a big help. Best of luck to all of us!
