Think "Love Handles" when administering Lovenox. The preferable site to inject, and rotate sites. I've never heard of it being administered "just anywhere as long as it's SQ." Lovenox=Lovehandles.
Wow... have never put Duoderm on a skin tear either for the same reasons given above. We always do just as the OP descrbed.. works beautifully. :) I agree.. duoderm would only cause more damage...
