  1. How long did you wait???

Our school did ATI tests through each semester and also ATI live review after graduation. I also used the Saunders CD that came with the book and a free website NCLEX RN 3500. I did practice questions...
  2. How long did you wait???

I took mine within 7 weeks of graduation. The longer you wait the harder it is to keep fresh in what you have learned. Study hard & good
  3. Got good pop up but still worried!!

Congrats on your new job! I know how you feel tho. I'm nervous too! I start orientation tomorrow! All this week is general orientation with all new employees, but soon I will be on the
  4. Is ati helpful when studying for the nclex-pn?

I agree with pink rabbit. I did both and liked Saunders better. Good
  5. I failed on my first try, I won't give up.

  6. I failed on my first try, I won't give up.

I wrote you a long PM but it didn't go thru. I guess in a nutshell, keep doing practice Q's. Try not to overload yourself with information from too many sources. That can be extremely overwhelming....
  7. signed up for NCLEX...again

Sorry about that! I cleared my inbox. Boy they sure don't let you have many PMs before it's full! Seems like I have to delete everyday....

  9. I failed on my first try, I won't give up.

I wouldn't focus too much of your time on drugs. I only got 4 or 5 drug questions and most people I have seen on here got fewer than that or none at all. I think if I were you, I would practice SATAs...
  10. taking NCLEX RN feb 15

I practiced SATA Q's mostly on the 'alternate format' Q's on NCLEX 3500. Did like 50 a day for a week before. Glad I did cuz I had between 30-40 SATAs out of 100 on
  11. Did I FAIL??

I can't imagine having to wait that long! Thank God my state does the online quick results...it was hard enough for me to wait 48 hours, let alone 2-4 weeks!
  12. How I Passed The NCLEX

Congrats! Good luck with your interview! I was scared about mine too...just be yourself and you will do fine. I think what helped me to get hired after mine was that I sent them a Thank you card. We...
  13. I failed on my first try, I won't give up.

So sorry, babyk I can certainly imagine how disheartened you must feel. Be strong and know that we will be here for you as you go on to study for the 2nd and last time you test. You can do it. I know...

  15. Tested yesterday

    ^ Hahaha!
  16. I would be embarrassed to even post something like that. Not trying to be disrespectful of the OP, but needing someone to show her how to do this a week before graduation? I sincerely hope she figured...
  17. most hated subject???

I hated dosage calculations class. Mainly because I suck at math and the fact that we had to have a 90% to pass. After that class was over, I was like, "Whoo hoo! No more math!" Boy was I wrong. At...
  18. Tested yesterday

Just in case you don't know what blackvans was referring to, watch the video "ain't nobody got time for that" on YouTube. Its

  21. Its official!!!

    Yay! FANTABULOUS!
  22. NCLEX tomorrow

I took the ATI class only because it was paid for by my school. To tell you the truth, you didn't miss much. I got more out of the Saunders CD and NCLEX 3500 because their rationales were more in...
  23. taking NCLEX RN feb 15

    You will do great!
  24. I am a brand new nurse who has a daughter in college over two hours away. She called me tonight to tell me she has a sharp pain under her left breast that radiates to her back under her shoulder...
  25. Anxiety

Very good advice! I also have depression and anxiety disorder. Before I was put on a good SSRI, I would have full blown panic attacks that would just come out of nowhere. It seemed like they would...
