I believe there was only one open house. I'm not sure if attending the open house was mandatory in order to get the job. I received a call back just 4 days after I applied (in person).

That happened to my friend because she took it in such a short period of time so they wanted to review the test personally to see if she cheated. I think it took 2 weeks. I'm sure at this point you know!

That is considered good! I got a 54% on my practice test and after studying my butt off, I ended up taking the NCLEX in 75 questions :-)

With no connections and no experience...I'm going to say please don't bother moving here.

Not to be a downer...but as a Bay Area native and New Grad with loads of connections...I say good luck and maybe consider not moving with your husband.
