I used Kaplan, they have a free app with practice questions that's great. NCLEX mastery app, I think it's about $30 or so but so worth it, Saunders, HESI - NCLEX practice questions, and La Charity "Prioritization/Delegation/Assignment".
Thanks so much!! When I applied for Spring '13, my prereq gpa was a 3.2 and my science was 3.4, Hesi - 91% w/860 in critical thinking. It went up since then because I was finishing some prereqs in the fall. I don't know if they considered those grade...
Congrats!! I am starting in May too! The same thing happened to me. Let me know if a FB page is created. Good luck to everyone!! Even if you make the waitlist there is still hope.
I was offered admission today too!! However, I am declining so I can start in the summer. I'll have more time to move to Houston. :) Good luck to those still on the waiting list and to those starting this semester!
Well so far I have heard nothing about the waiting list. I have applied for the summer and fall terms so I hope this time around I get admission. Do you think taking pharmacology this semester at my local college is a good idea?
Good thinking. Is anyone else that got waitlisted going to get everything together just in case? I know it seems like a long shot but I still want to be prepared.
If you have one set of scores that says V-1 and the other that says V-2, I think you're good. When I took the second version I also thought it was somewhat the same.
I applied but haven't heard back either. I would think that denials would go out all at once? I have a yellow triangle because of the classes I'm finishing up this semester. I don't like that it's the same symbol as being waitlisted!
