  1. Hi there Mitch , I really appreciated your message and I can't PM you yet I'm just new on this site. I'll let you know what will happen next ... Thank you so much again and God bless.
  2. Hi Mitch , thank you for that wonderful words... Like you I graduated in 1996 from another country.. We just moved here in California last 2010, and got my eligibility November 2011 . I took the NCLEX last month and I didn't passed. It meant a lot to me , I felt that if I passed it will be a great help to my family as we start of our new life . But I let my family down not to mention the additional expenses of retaking the exam. I have no job , my family is kind enough to let me concentrate with the review . They encourage me to take the exam again but I have mix emotion since I've been out for so many years and a foreign graduate there's a small chance for me to pass. It's been three weeks and I can't even open my books again. All Nurses helps me fight this depression as I read all the messages and your thread make me feel there's still hope for me. Thank you so much and good luck.
  3. Thank you so much for all the kind words, I really appreciate it . I felt that I'm not alone in this battle and makes me more positive as I take all of this one day at a time. May God bless us all in this journey.
  4. I failed the exam for the first time and all the nurses in the family passed it for the first time . I'm a big disappointment in my family, since we got the result everyone seems to be quiet. I think this is the only site that can understand the stress and true feelings of failing the NCLEX exam . I know I have to do it again but I don't know where to start , I can't even open my books again. I'm thinking to take CNA first before I take the exam again so I can find a job and support all the expenses in taking my exam again and let this experience pass for awhile ......
  5. I took the NCLEX for the first time last week, and I encountered the same questions you had, first question SATA , then drugs , then this topic about nurses in conference etc., but I had 230 question before the computer shut down . I think I also failed because I tried the PVT trick and leads me to the CC page. I do all the studying for months Kaplan, NCSBN , Nclex 4000 and all the tips and hints from this site. It seems I didn't study at all . My family knows I'm still waiting for the result since there is no quick result in California.
