last year at capital i was 21 out of 125 and they went up to 11.. but ive heard of them going high into the 20s before so you never know

i also got into ccc.. i already filled out my papers and have my cpr certification. im handing it all on tuesday my day off. my physical was two months ago so just get to get hat filled out. excited!

I got into capital.. so excited.. i know what its like to be waitlisted.. last year i was number 21...

What does it mean preffered email adress? how do i get into the school email? and also has anyone been updated about their gpa or what they are missing?

My first choice is capital then naugatuck. But last year when i applied my teas was lower. Thats why I got waitlisted. It was a 71%.

I was wondering what was the computer applications exam and if that was new to apply this year. Also, what classes are going to be part of the GPA. I took the teas yesterday and i got an 85.3%. My GPA last year when I appllied was 3.49 and I got a B in A&P. I was waitlisted #21 last year but my teas is a lot higher.

is the waiting list 130 just for capital or for all the schools???

so dissapointed.. on the waiting list 21 out 0f 130. For who ever was on the waiting list last year, can you tell me what was your number. I doubt 21 people will not accept the program!!

Ok.. So did anyone th at saw waitlisted when they looked in the computer actually get in? Im so nervous I saw waitlisted. I dont get home until four when the mail comes. Uhh!!!

I got waitlisted from Capital. Hopefully I'm not too far up on the list. Does anyone know what the highest number on the waiting list that got accepted last year?

It said that clinicals were 7 to 11 but I thought in the forum I read from last year the clinicals were either 7 to 130 or 3 to 930.

Thanks nvccstudentnurse. I applied to Capital 1st and NVCC 2nd. Yea I have plenty of support and thats not really what im worried about. Just the timing and the amount of class Ill miss. My daughter was natural with no epideral and within a couple hours I was feeling fine and didnt need to take any medication at all so hopefully it goes that good this time around. I just wish it happens on a friday.. lol.

@studentnurseCT.. How far along were the pregnant girls in your class. I just found out so I'm pretty nervous about their flexibility. I work in the hospital as a CNA so its going to be pretty easy knowing what my body can and cant do. Also this is not my first pregnancy. I'm not sure if I can do the first semester since I think I'm due November 21. Im only 6 six weeks I think so far.

Thanks guys. I think that if I do get in then Im going to try to talk with a guidance counselor to discuss my options. Hopefully it all works out because Im dying to finish school already.

I have a dilemma. I just found out Im expecting a baby so if I get into the program Ill be like six months when it starts. Does Capital let people start in the Spring like defer them or something. I heard they do that when they have to take micro so they won't have to do nursing and micro at the same time. Do you think Ill be able to do that?
