  1. hi, I work in a nursing home and i need help with documenation. 1.Part of my job is to check proper documenation regarding fall incident, injury of unknown origin, and the like, however im still learning myself as well. Can anyone give me a good documentation samples. 2. How to properly document an incident were the patient was unresponsive in the middle of eating her meal. No carotid pulse, not breathing, code blue was called.
  2. I got hired yesterday and told me to get a cpr certificate and i did it today!! it was actually an on the spot job offer.. IM sooo happy!!!:nurse:
  3. i actually plan to get BSL and ACLS just to add up in my resume it would be helpful for sure. do you know how much it costs? i live around shaumburg do u know any place around that area where i could enroll? I didnt try downtown chicago yet coz its really far.. If i cant get a job this month then il try it there.. Do you think home health nurse is great too?

What are the qualifications that they need? is it a hard job? have u ever been beaten up or something? i actually have a friend that works in a mental facility in new zealand and during her first month her patient slapped her on the face.. what should i do to get this job i admire ur courage coz i know it takes millions or nerve cells to have the guts working in a mental facility, to be honest im not sure enough if i can do it still, im hoping for the best..thanks alot Merlyn

I always wanted to be a psychiatric nurse but the only problem is I have no experience aside from my clinical when i was a student... i have a few questions regarding this matter 1. is there some facilities that accept newly grad in IL, if so where can i apply? 2. Is it really a dangerous environment to work? 3. how much is the starting salary (per hour)? thanks alot :redbeathe
  6. state of Il, this is my first week of job hunting so im hoping for the best.. i got few phone calls but first question they asked over the phone is about my experience which i dont have soo i ended up not getting any interviews... right now i plan to apply as a home nurse and pychiatric nurse.. May God bless us...
  7. thank you!! it took me 4 months to finish processing coz all my records are in the phil. but u know what in my own point of view passing the nclex is easier than getting a job specially for someone like me that has no experience... its actually my first week of job hunting and its really tough coz most hospitals are looking for someone that has already axperience...   9. i really need help regarding my job search... I got here in IL a year ago.. im a BSN graduate of 2008 got my license in 2009 and finally i took the nclex-RN exam last month and YESS i made it!! now the real challenge is getting a Job. To be honest i dont think i have the edge to get a job coz i have nothing to put on my resume aside from passing the NCLEX.. does anybody here that could help me with this issue?? i really need advise thanks for ur time... :redbeathe
  10. where you from? we are on the same page! Im a RN in the philippines without experience,i got here in the states last May took the NCLEX and pass a month ago.. now the real challenge is getting a job ive been applying On line but i never got a single response.. Good luck to us...
