Would anyone mind sharing their stats for acceptance? Overall GPA and pre-req GPA?
My friend is trying to gain admission and trying to give her an idea of where she stands. Thank you so much!
Do you have someone that can care for the kids while you’re in school and clinical? It was hard without kids. A few classmates had kids but had the help (and none of them had more than 2 kids). Your clinical hours can be all over the place, including...

Doesn't exist. Only a few classes at most would be online. Schools have to coordinate clinical sites, it's not like you can just pick and choose which town you want to have clinical in. Start by researching the schools in PA...

I do not think a new grad should start out in an endo or eye center. Don't stick yourself into an endo hole right out of the gate. I don't believe you truly master your anesthesia skills until you've been working on your own (not as a student with a ...
How much sleep do you need? Lol. But in all seriousness, I don't have a family and it's been exhausting :) On the flip side I have classmates who have young kids and have made it, so yes, it's doable. Props to them. It is what you make of it I suppos...

I don't think the poster has ever done anesthesia, so I find the comments hilarious. There was a poster on these discussion boards about a year ago who failed out of CRNA school, but is now doing anesthesia residency...hmm, yep, CRNAs definitely aren...

Don't do it. Use the money to buy Apex Anesthesia (it's a lot cheaper too!). Get the 3-year subscription--I highly recommend it to supplement learning during didactic AND for studying for boards.

First of all, this isn't nursing school...get outta here with that cattiness lol Finish your cases. Don't just jump from room to room to intubate, get lines, etc. Providers (MDAs and CRNAs) DO NOTE when you do that...it's not appreciated. Don't just ...

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that things are looking better. It's probably because these students were caught in the awkward phase of the transition from Wolford --> Keiser and that's why a lot of their issues occurred. I hope everything has smoothed...

I don't know anything about the other jobs, sorry. A non-compete clause basically states that you cannot work for another anesthesia group/company within "X" amount of miles of your facility (sometimes they make it within X amount of miles of ANY of ...

The job market is tough. UCH I think had a few openings for experienced providers--check their website. USAP had some openings in Denver. I wouldn't work for that group after some drama happened a few months ago where one of their chief CRNAs alleged...

Here let me Google that FOR you... Nurse Anesthesia, MS - Keiser University "The Keiser University Nurse Anesthesia Programs (master and doctoral levels) are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), 2...
I'm thinking nursing may not be for you. This is very ignorant. We all did it, plenty of men have done it before you, get over yourself. You aren't special. P.S. Not every ED has a "pediatric ED." You have a LOT to learn. Oh, and you should have been...

If you plan to stay in Cali forever, and LOVE your job, then stay doing it. You're right, it wouldn't really make much sense. Take a look on Gaswork (ignore recruiter posts, bc they always over-inflate the pay) and see how much CRNAs are earning in C...
