  1. Where I work you get a a raise for your BSN. It is worth asking HR about.
  2. I can afford to take trips abroad and I can now afford cable. That's enough luxury for me.
  3. A PICC line is NOT a central line.
  4. What's wrong with someone being proud of what they do?
  5. Aides at my facility can start IVs if they have been trained and were signed off on the skill.
  6. Never said you were :-)
  7. Nurses are screened as often as necessary. Stay off drugs :-)
  8. We had a pregnant student in my class. I believe it is doable though it is not ideal. Congratulations!!!
  9. I don't care. If there is an order for you to receive iv pain medications I will write the next time that you can receive it on the board. Don't ask for it any sooner (this just applies to drug seekers). It's not my place to determine whether you actually deserve it or not.
  10. You want strangers to make a decision for you?
  11. On the board of nursing website for your state. Do a license look up.
  12. I absolutely hate when random people try to start conversations with me. Elevator rides are super awkward lol. I'm an introvert but I still interact with my colleagues pretty well.
  13. Your name would not appear if you failed. My license number was posted within 24 hours. I finished my exam 2pm and I had a license number by 10am the next morning. Just an FYI for somebody else with the same question.
  14. I don't believe you'll be able to work as a tech because you are a licensed LVN.
  15. Our ER nurses always tell us the H&P, size and location of IV, as well as what meds were given without me asking.
  16. I've never had issues with Alaris. I love them! I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues.
  17. Mine was not. I got a 76% chance of passing with ATI. I passed NCLEX first try, 75 questions. I didn't go overboard with studying either.
  18. Gabriel brothers if there is one near you. Also walmart
  19. You can't be serious 😑.
  20. I would go with st lukes. I went to a diploma program and had no problems finding a job. I found a job within a month after graduating, at a level 1 trauma center. I was not an aide or pct prior to becoming a nurse. I'm currently enrolled in a BSN program now. Do what works best for you. Good luck!!
