    I would have done the exact same thing. We have a small hospital and only 3 ob/gyn docs. We all know them very well, I would of called any of them if they were on call. You did the right thing considering the info you got from the ER doc.

    I became a OB nurse after having my four kids, I think it would be a wonderful experience to go through labor with everyone I work with now. I would know more what to expect out of people and I know their personalities better.
