It's crazy to think of how different things are now, as compared to just a few short years ago. Four years ago, I had just been on my unit a few months, and we had tons of new grads ..... was even kind of scary the new grad to experienced nurse rati...
I always take my class through here: http://www.cprinstruction.com/ They hold different classes throughout the valley which makes it convenient. It's $25 for Healthcare Provider AHA CPR certification.

Oh yeah, I see them all the time when I'm hiking, especially South Mountain, I've just never had one in my house. I bet the folks in Anthem find tons in their homes, as that's so new up there ..... I remember when NOTHING was even up there, it was "o...

I've lived here 29 years and have never had a scorpion in my house :) Although it might be a normal occurrence in some parts of the valley (newer/underdeveloped areas). To the OP I ditto what the others say about having a job in hand first.

If you re-activated your license, then I don't see why you should have to go through a refresher course. The way they would handle this situation on my unit would be to offer you a 12-week orientation (like a new grad) or however long you think you'd...
We aren't required and we don't do it for hospital record. Usually in the first couple of days (depending on how stable the kid is) we do a set of footprints to put on the name signs we make for the babies. And after that we do them at the parents' ...
