Thanks for the information. The person I called didn't give very good information regarding the details of rescheduling. I guess it doesn't matter regardless of the money. Frankly, I believe it's more of an anxiety issue and want to make sure to get all my ducks in a row first before I take it again. I was flustered finding out I had failed and as a result, didn't really know how to get back on my feet. I don't want to set myself up for another failure. I want to build my confidence for sure so I ensure a win. Thanks again for your comment. It's not a matter of getting your degree and clinical time. Going through school doesn't guarantee your pass in the CRNE. It's more of a psychological issue I suppose. Failure can hit a person hard. Oh thanks for the comment. Glad to hear I'm not alone.

Hello everyone, I was curious about rescheduling the CRNE exam this coming Oct. 5th. I'm getting really nervous and do not feel ready for the exam at all. I was told that since the deadline to reschedule has been passed that they would keep 50%!! of the examination fee. I don't have the extra cash to pay the transfer to the next exam date. I was wondering (for those who have taken the exam previously) on the actual exam date (i.e. Oct 6/10 or June 1/11) if they asked exam takers that if they didn't feel like taking the test they could leave and there wouldn't be any excess charge to reschedule. I've taken the exam in June 1st and failed. I was pushed into taking it again knowing I wasn't ready to take it again right after. I would like to confirm that they ask this question every time you take the test. Thank you very much for your feedback.
