My husband and I are possibly relocating to Knoxville, TN. We lived there for a few years before but I never worked as a nurse there. I have a possible job opportunity at the Turkey Creek Medical Center run by Tennova (previously Mercy West, and Baptist West before that). I'm having trouble finding any information about this hospital, and the few things I have found haven't been really very positive...but I'd really like to find some more reliable information than just, "Oh my mom was here and we had this one nurse who blah blah blah..."
They are not listed on the site for the Leapfrog hospital survey, so I'd like to find out some more information. Has anyone worked there, or does anyone have a good source of information about this hospital? Nursing conditions, nurse-to-patient ratios, starting pay, benefits, patient safety ratings, quality standards, organization in general? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
