Glad I could help. I love my kindle fire, but truthfully prefer my regular kindle instead for leisure reading. I'm considering selling my kindle fire and purchasing an I-pad for school. That way, I can have the best of both worlds. :) For now, my iPh...

MackJean- I have a kindle fire and an iPhone. If you are considering the kindle merely for the books, you can get a 'kindle' app for the iPad. This allows the power points and things that are easier on the iPad, while also giving you access to all yo...

Yes, a cat. I did the same. Although, I did poorly and got a C that term and took the course over again on campus. On campus we had a human cadaver lab.
Unfortunately, there is no way to answer this. They select the top scores to fill their seats. It depends on the scores of the applicants to determine how low of a score might get accepted. Wishing you the best of luck! Letters should be emailed in J...
It depends on the school. Chemeketa is a points system, which includes a proctored essay. There is no personal statement or interview involved. Are you talking about Chemeketa or someplace else?

Congratulations to all who've gotten acceptance or wait list letters! To those who have been rejected, keep your chin up and try again next cycle. I am still waiting to hear on my program; a tad impatiently. I'm supposed to be notified in June, altho...

I live in Oregon. Our A & P is 3 sections, each a term (11 weeks) with lab. I have had to dissect a sheep's kidney, a cow's eyeball, a cat, a pig's heart, and a sheep's brain. We also use human cadavers. Keep in mind, online courses may not get y...
Just an FYI; last year people got their emails on June 8. I 'think' the earliest I've seen in posts on here was June 4 one year. I'm hoping the decreased number of applicants this year will speed things up. :)
My coworkers and family are about ready to commit me, I think. It doesn't help that I'm not taking any classes this term, so I'm bored out of my mind!! I'm just making my lists and plans for getting an acceptance letter. I figure this way, I'm not do...
Congratulations on getting into Nursing school!! I am so jealous of those who have been accepted into their programs. My school does not issue their notifications until June for the Fall entry, so I'm trying to plan for school while nervously waiting...
Mid June is the official time frame. However, the first or second week of June was the norm for the last few gears. Fewer applicants this year, so maybe it'll be quicker. :)
Woohoo! Great job! I had him correct a grade as well; it was a quick and painless process. Just an FYI; we're not allowed to post names on the site. If you can edit your post , I would suggest you remove his name. If not, I'm sure the admins will edi...
People posted on this site the last two years about acceptance letters. Last year the earliest received was June 8, and the year before was June 4. Last year's letters were emailed, and our correspondence from the assistant dean this year indicates t...
Hi there! Congrats on the great score! Mid-June is the 'official' stance on acceptance letters, but they do get them out earlier some years. I'm hoping with the reduced number of applicants, it will move faster than in the past.
That's great about the financial side of things for OHSU. One of my co-workers will also be starting at the Monmouth campus this year. My essay was 50/50 with total points of 360. Crossing my fingers that will get me an acceptance.
