Yes it's understandable with all the differences, but there is a downside of working night shifts. Your sleep pattern is off and plus social life is no where to be found. :/ Karen thanks for replying!!!

Yes, I'm still on the waiting list to get in as a volunteer. . unheard of for volunteer. . =/ I figure its probably because of the 6 months - 1 year commitment they require that is why their volunteer positions are filled.

Where are you located at? I'm glad you found a job! Something is better than nothing. =) That sounds like the facility I work at, but there is two sides to the facility and there is one nurse on each side.

So are you still in LTC? How did it all work out? I'm curious because I'll be starting LTC as new grad, but on evening/nocturnal shift so I guess it won't be as chaotic as day for the mean time of transition.
