    I got hired! Yahoo!!! : )

I am a foreign grad RN in 2008 and just recently passed Nclex - who is starting my first job at a long term nursing home/ rehab center next week. I am extremely excited!! However, I am also very nervous because for 2 years I haven't had any working experience here in Jersey (I am a stayed at home Mom but was able to attend courses like bls, cls, nrp, pals, IV therapy and I volunteer at SDS. Any advice for me would be wonderful! What are the biggest challenges I will face as a new nurse on a rehab unit? Thanks so much!

I did the verification only through CGFNS ONCE prior taking it the first time. After 60-90 days, you will go through reapplication process only. Download the reapp form and submit other docs. After the first time you failed the test, they would require you to enroll in a comprehensive nursing review, either online or class. After that they would ask for your performance report and review certification ( I recommend HURST online + 3-day classroom review) together with your reapp form and fee ($30).
