I just figured since a prep card is a medical diagnose and not having an actual dx. Is this assignment possible. I can't make things up. Oh he fell and now he has a broken rib. That's not a fact. And I do my own work and think critically very well. Don't attack me!!

The patient assigned to me has "multiple trauma" he fell off :confused:a latter. I barely met him today because he Was out having a stress test. My professor wants me to do a Care plan and a prep card. I asked her how...on a patient with "multiple trauma" if that's all the information I have she said look in my books. I did! Still no closer to having anything written down.... can u help?

My first exam is tommorow morning. Im pretty optimistic about it. im not sure if its false hope but i spent alot of time trying figure out what my weaknesses are. So tell me this??...how do you thing you managed to get a B. This is a dream that i can not let go!!! I love Nursing and i love my studies but i have to make sure im doing the studys right! i also understand Nclex style questions are a biggie....:) Im still smiling!

There's all sorta jobs u can do as a nurse. Right now your in one of the busiest, most demanding settings. You'll find something. You went through nursing school for a reason...what was that?

Yes. I understand. And I also understand that the situations get more complicated. Thanks for your insight. Critical thinking =common sence which is not so common

When I was born I dreamed of being a nurse. (giggle) no really I've never wanted anything else as a career except nursing. I begin the program fall 2011. Last night my grandmother asked me if I know how to "think critically" ever since I've been questioning myself. What did she mean? and is that taught in school? What's an example of critical thinking? Will my brain automatically switch to this mode?
