Some people may learn better by asking the question, getting an answer, then going to do research for a better understanding and clarification. Just because they ask a question doesn't mean they want a silver platter nor trying to take the easy way out. Good for you if you know the answer but don't want to share your knowledge and help others out. Just read and move on.

Fingerprint Cards for Licensure by Endorsement

You have to go to the police department yourself. No one will mail them to you. They will fingerprint you at the police department . Once that's done they will hand you the actual fingerprint card and you mail them yourself to the address GaBon provided.

Ga Board of Nurses by Endorsement questions & Frustrations

Sarah, my fingerprint cards were given to me right at the time my fingerprints were taken. I just requested an extra set just incase. If they look wrong at the time they'll just redo them but once you mail them off you just have to hope the receiver can read them clearly. But I didn't have a problem with that. Why don't you just do them from your home town it'll be easier since you are familiar with the area. You don't have to wait until you are in Georgia. Education wise all I provided was my college transcript. Nothing else was needed for me but a copy of your diploma won't hurt anything. You don't need to send a copy of your license because you'll have your board sign a license verification form or you can go online to the website provided to have your license verified if your state participates in that. A copy of your license means nothing to them they want to know if it's currently active.

Ga Board of Nurses by Endorsement questions & Frustrations

I just got my GA license endorsed a few days ago. It took 6 days to process. Alot faster than I thought. Definitely triple check to make sure you have everything they are asking for and you should have no problems.

    Moving to the Duluth area.

Anyone know of any good places with great benefits to work for in the Duluth area. I guess I'm willing to commute 25-35 mins out. I know Atlanta traffic can be a headache and I prefer to not to be in the metro area. Any night nurses in this area? Do you miss the traffic when going to and coming from work? Any advice and or suggestions ? Thank you!!!!!

Cletic our per diem crew has it good like you. If they wanted full time hours they could get it every week if they wanted too since we're short staffed every single day! Some places it's not guaranteed you'd get the hours you want but at our facility the hours are waiting on you. Lol

Twelve hour shifts. Are you doing 3 or 4 days a week?

Calivianya...We've been doing mandatory overtime for a few months now for almost every shift too and it's getting old. The 5th day is where our incentive pay kicks in. It's ridiculous. Lol . There are people who would like to do that but I'm not one of them.
  13. I'm curious to what everyone else is doing and how it really is out in this field. Has anyone been promised to 3 twelve hour shifts in the hospital setting and are actually working 3 days a week? Does your workplace stick to giving you 3 twelve hour shifts or are you guys doing mandatory overtime 4 days? Also does your hospital offer holiday pay? Thanks guys!

    GOOD POP UP!!!!

It's called a trick for a reason. Obviously it's not the official result. We do the TRICK just to see what happens not to take it as an official result. From the evidence I've seen the good outcome has outweighed the bad. Which is my point. I'm not saying it's never happen but very slim chance of it being bad.

    GOOD POP UP!!!!

Well that didn't happen with me and I don't know of anyone that has happen to. PVT pop up in my world is good news. But I wouldn't dare accept a job offer until it's actually offical. Common sense. And ditto to Nursynursenurse!
