Has anyone talked to admissions yet about the status of acceptance letters? I am tempted to call but I am sure they get a 100 calls a day around this time:)

bluebird... I have rode the TRE and it passes right by the nursing school. I am not sure how close the station is to it though because I was not paying attention lol. I am sure it would be better and cheaper to ride the train.

That would be awesome if letters were sent out last week in sept or first in oct. I was expecting sometime in nov lol.

@Texas... thanks for posting some info about the path... at first I thought I was missing a class but now realize that it is something taken after admittance:)

I hate the waiting game. I applied back in June and check my TWU email all the time just in case there are questions. I hope all of us get in! I see there are alot more people applying to Houston than Dallas. I do wonder what the competition is like.

I talked to an advisor today and they told me that there is exceptions to the last Hep B. I am so glad:) Hi Christina! I am applying to the Dallas Campus for Spring. So were you admitted the nursing program already or just TWU?

I am a little worried about immunizations... I have all of them done but my last Hept can not be taken until 2/16/12. Do you think this will effect my admission requirements? I know we need them before clinicals but I dunno with those start. Worried....

@ Monkey, I know some schools will give candidates extra consideration if they have their CNA. It would be good experience and it would give you a chance to work during school. I have thought about doing the same but still not sure if I am going to....

I am applying to TCC too. I have a 4.0 in my sciences and scored a high 85% on my TEAS. I still have to take the HESI for TCC. Is it harder or easier than TEAS? I think everyone on this forum has a great chance of getting in!

I am currently applying to TWU Spring of 2012 too! I just took the TEAS test this past Friday and it seemed ok. I did well on it and hope the score and my GPA will help me get into the program:) Good luck to everyone!
