@Amy, we were suppose to reply by today whether we were going to accept or deny so you should prob find out tomorrow for second round. @ Tina, I think we find all of that out at orientation but I believe there is a post a few pages back where someone has copied and pasted from a current student of what to expect.

From the emails that we have already been getting... we do get to pick preferences but it does not guarrantee what hospital we will be at. I am currently a dental assistant and a lot of my patients that are nurses have gone to TWU and love it.

Titers really saved me. I grew up in Arkansas and I knew it would be a hassle getting shot records. I wish I had known about the 4 weeks series sooner. Unfortunately.. I have already done the 2 of the 3 and it was not cheap but thankfully I saved a lot more money by doing the titers.

Hey Learlady.. there already is a facebook page set up. Its under Dallas Spring 2012. Also, Angela... I talked to Heather from the Denton Campus about it and she had to ask someone else. Houston maybe different than Dallas.

Hey, I know they require at least the first two shots. You might want to email them or call them just in case. I won't have mind completed until Feb and they gave approval for that.

Hey Dallas people... where do I find total costs of tuition? I looked on FAQS and they give undergraduate but just curious if that is the same for nursing? I am sure we will get all that in our packets but I really want to get started on Financial Aid.

To all the people that haven't heard anything.. don't lose hope! Remember this is just the first round and other people that were accepted could possibly turn down TWU and pick other schools. I am also a second degree student that had a horrible GPA, but once I found out that I wanted to be a nurse I busted my butt getting the best grades possible for the prereqs. I know it is a lost cause finding out how they accept people but I really do think first attempts take in a HUGE factor. I got 3 out of 4 of first attempts. I am beyond excited and nervous all at the same time. Congrats to everyone that has gotten in so far! Can't wait to meet all the people that got accepted into Dallas!! :cheers:

Ready... if you get accepted to both... I know getting it done in a year would be great but if you were able to keep your job AND get hired on once completed.. I would pick TWU. Good luck:)

TCC's app period ended on Sept 30th and they already know.. crazy. I guess they didn't have as many applicants or something. To people on here that applied and got accepted to that program CONGRATS! At least you are know you are going somewhere:) I am sure the people are so mad at people calling lol. I am just ready to find out either or.

Who all is applying to Houston campus and who all is applying to Dallas? Just curious:)

Yeah I called a few weeks back to verify again they had my test scores. The first time they said they did and the second time they didn't but it was because they did not have an updated list. I was like ok .. should I be worried and they said no, if there was a prob I would have already been sent an email. That is how I learned that no news is good news lol.

I am so nervous but trying to not think about it lol. I have been looking at other schools just in case I don't get in and it seems TWU standards are so much higher than some other schools. I could only apply to TWU this time because I am not done with some prereqs for other schools. I hate putting all my eggs in one basket ... makes me so stressed lol.

@Rosett, If you were accepted into the fall program at twu I am sure this should not be a prob. Did something come up where you could not go through with the program? Good luck with Spring and I hope, like the rest of us, you get in:)

@AMAE - if you don't mind me asking.. did you do anything different when you reapplied? Retake classes or exams? I will be eligible to apply to more schools next term if I don't get in to TWU. I am also considering to take additional classes to apply to even more schools if I need to.
