If the hospital has EMR they can look back to see who viewed your electronic chart if you are concerned someone saw private information. Privacy is a big issue. So sorry for everyone's loss! May God give you all peace during your hard times :)

I wouldn't necessarily take the first job that comes to you...ie LTC. Generally a hospital wants 1 year ACUTE care experience. Take a rehab position then consider a lateral transfer over LTC if you want to get into a big hospital.

Once the pt is stabilized with IV push, they start a drip to make sure the patient doesn't flip back....are you sure that isn't what they were doing? Protocol I believe is to "bolus" and then start a drip.
