  1. Hi everyone! I am in desperate need to find a primary care/ internal medicine preceptor and/or pediatrics for Fall 2020 in Wisconsin. I need 120 hours with adults and/or 120 hours with peds. I live in Milwaukee but I am willing to drive. I have been calling a ton of places, and sites are already booked or not currently taking students due to COVID. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks ?
  2. I just recently got accepted into UK BSN program and I will be starting there in the Spring of 2012. I was wondering if you could tell me a little about the program. I am very excited and nervous to start, and I was wondering if you had any advice?
  3. Gooodluck! I bet you'll get in :) you'll have to let me know when you get in!
  4. For the students admitted I don't know the number but I know that the admittance has doubled because the program has gotten bigger so that's why when you apply and your accepted you'll either start in the fall or in the spring. Also for the gpa I know that your science gpa is really important and your prereq gpa is important and I think that's all they base it off of. And thanks! I am very excited and I will be touring the campus and nursing building next week to visit!
  5. Yes I got into the nursing program and I start in january. The program is split into two classes. My science gpa was a 3.7 so that means that the people who got into the fall had higher gpas than me. I'm also from california :) and I went to a jc for two years. I worked really hard to get good grades but I would definitely apply if I were you! :)
  6. Is there anyone that has taken or is currently in the BSN program at the University of Kentucky? Im just curious because I will be attending there in the Spring for the traditional BSN program. Thanks!
  7. What I am planning to do if I don't get into any of the school I applied to is that I will go to TCU for a year and then try to get into the nursing program that way because it is a lot easier to get in as a student. Good luck everyone! And kt1234 what are you studying at TCU???
  8. Congrats! Did you do any extracurricular stuff? I had a 3.41 cumulative and a 3.3 science GPA and I was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society at my school and I work and volunteer at a hospital and I didnt get in. What did you do to get in???
  9. I didn't get in
  10. And to let everyone know I talked to a woman today that is head of transfers for the nursing program and she said that there were 33 or so spots available for transfer students and that about 200 people applied to the program. Good luck to those who haven't heard!
  11. Oh and PAMQ have you heard from TCU yet???
  12. I applied to a lot of schools; in california, and out of state and I have got denied by 4 so far but worst case if I don't get into any other programs then I will probably transfer to TCU fall and try to get in for the spring. I also thought that TCU was suppose to be an easier school to get into because of the cost, that is why I applied. I wont find out until Saturday if I've got in or not but I'm pretty sure from everyone else's posts that it will be a no. And thanks for all that information :) Did you apply any where else???
  13. I usually get it around 4pm but of course I have to go on a trip up to northern california so I won't find out til sunday if I got in or not. So you'll have to let me know if you get yours! Goodluck! :)
  14. I still haven't gotten my letter but does anyone know if its possible to go to tcu for a semerster if I don't get in to the nursing program and try to get in as an intransfer studentfor spring? I know they only take out transfers once a year in fall, and I really want to go there. Good luck to everyone!
