  1. Personally no but i would apply and see what happens. There is always the lottery and if your a and p 1 grade is high and your teas score is good that will also help you. Good Luck!

  3. I think that exam is for students who wish to bypass the required computer class.
  4. I'd go with documentation... Then again I dont start nursing school til Jan!

  7. i am one hour from school... 16 mon program and i have to go there about three days week. Some of the clincial sites (two days) will be a closer commute. I would say two hours is a bit far.

  11. I agree. Safe sex is effective but abstinence only is taking ten steps back...
  12. The Abstinence-only education is very worrisome....
  13. I was waitlisted last year and this year got into my school of choice. Its tough and the wait is hard. Hang in there.
  14. Dont give up... you can always take a year to save money and apply again..
  15. How many seats are there.... and how many other rn programs are close by? These variables will weigh heavily...

  17. In our Community College programs you need certain classes just to apply (BIO, CHEM, A &P, ENG, COMPUTERS). There are then other classes (psy, eng 102, microbiology for example). Most student take this co req classes before they start the program and in fact most programs urge this. I think it would be a great idea to start now! Good Luck!

  20. does anyone know what edition of the perry and potter book they are using? The title is Fundamentals of Nursing... i know last year it was 7th ed... but there is a new edition on amazon
