    DITTO...lots and lots of handoff communication practice is a good idea b/c I've been practicing for about 6 months now and still feel funky at report time LOL sometimes

    Yes where we are, it is done this way - babies are delivered and then they bond with mom but usually L and D is rushing to get baby over to us, mom doesn't get to keep baby there very long though...

    I work in the state of VA and I've never seen a consent for Vit. K. We have the consent for Hep and we have to see it before we give the vax but never have I seen any consent for Vit. K or ointment....
