    Well to answer 1) the pt is now dying and reality has set in. Its easy to make yourself or a loved one a DNR when things are good but its an entirely different situation to act on it.

    Adhesive remover. Though since your pt arrived with a ton of it remaining my guess is the facility he came from didn't stock it. I have found some don't as it is not so cheap.

    Actually PVC's are quite common, so common you may have them and not know unless you were to have an EKG done. That said typically they are not treated unless they become symptomatic.
