  1. Male nurses hired faster?

I think it is def. easier for men to get a job in nursing. Managers like their physical strength. Now this is just from what I have seen, although I know this is not true. I know a couple managers who specify to the recruiter that they prefer men, I ...
  2. Please help me, I'm in trouble.

I would contact a lawyer specializing in nursing matters, this will affect getting a new job so you want to know what is being written about you and defend yourself. Sadly, i have found in these matters everyone is out to cover their own butt.

  6. Preferred Critical Care Spec. prior to CRNA

  13. Annoyed....Just needing to vent...

feel the same way... I rather be at the bedside and actually do my nursing care. I know it's illegal but I know nurses who write what they should be doing instead of actually doing it!!!
  14. Would you report this?

I think delegating task is one of the hardest things in nursing.... I like to write e-mails to my manager when I have issues b/c I like to have everything in writing and a response or a lack of one in writing too. It's tough when the person you're ha...

the per diem nurses I work with cancel all the time... not the nicest thing. But if you're working per diem I think a week is enough time to cancel.
