Thats the basic, the doc could do a custom PCA or add in other meds.

If the pt is known to need it, I give it at the same time. That way I don't forget one or the other if I get busy.

I know at my hospital it makes a huge difference. We keep lists of students that we would like to hire; as well as students who we would like to avoid.
