  1. Since you received your welcome packet in Sept, you should expect to receive your first payment by the end of the month in Oct. I received my welcome package in August and I am expecting my first deposit at the end of this month.
  2. SDNURSE1, I did the same thing. Since my loans are in deferment, I plan to pay off my private loan first. This way I only have one payment when I finish school.
  3. I received a congratulations email around 7pm tonight. I am a participant. My cosign signature was from Lisa Walsh, OFAM Approver, HRSA. If you also have her cosign I would assume you're in a good spot. Good luck to you all.

  5. What name appears on the cosign?
  6. I received my finalist email the same day (7/31) and noticed a cosign on my contract on 8/22 but I haven't received a welcome email yet. With the end of August approaching, I am wondering if this cosign is legitimate confirmation or not. Anyone have a cosigner yet with no acceptance?
  7. I received the finalist email on 7/31 and the second signature on 8/22
  8. Just noticed my contract was signed by an OFAM Approver today around 10 am, so hopefully I will receive an official word tomorrow or later today. Hope every one else is doing well :)
  9. It seems that status changes occur on Thursdays. There is a pattern that once some one accepts the award and goes into final review, they end up getting a signature a month later and that next Friday they receive their official letter. This is just what I've noticed on these threads so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for notice around the end of the month. I signed my contract and entered acct info on 7/31. RN, 167% d/i ratio
  10. I just received an email stating my status has changed. I am a finalist for the award. I accepted and am waiting for counter signature. Has anyone heard of anyone being a finalist, accepting, and not getting awarded?
  11. So I just called the school and turns out I got it! My advisor told me that they are currently working on acceptance letters and will be sending them out soon. I also found out that they accepted all my credits so I already have 45 credits completed for the program! Good luck to everyone else! I'm soooo excited!
  12. Has anyone heard anything yet? Is it just me or is it odd that no one on here has heard anything yet?
  13. Ya, I sat down with my advisor and turns out I have almost half the coursework. My advisor said I would start somewhere in the second year depending on what they choose to accept. Then again, I hear what they accept can vary with each candidate. I'm just hoping for an acceptance at this point, then I'll focus on getting my credits transferred lol
  14. I have a 3.0 as well, however I don't remember my Hesi. I only had to take it as a formality because my high school ACT put me in the top category in terms of points in that section. I'm not sure what block I will be starting in, i already have a bachelors in human science so I have taken a good amount of the courses already. How did u find out your starting block already?
  15. Thanks again for the heads up on ------ being out of the office, shanesmommy. I'm assuming since nothing has arrived in my inbox or spam yet, then most likely the wait is extended until Monday. Its also reassuring to know that we are in the same boat, notification wise, Jessicalou. If u don't mind me asking, what was your score and gpa? Luckily I have a fun weekend planned to take my mind off of this until Monday. Seeing Lady Gaga front row tomorrow night! Let me know, on the off chance, if you hear anything over the weekend and I will do the same :) (fingers crossed)
  16. So has anyone heard anything? I'm sure I'm not the only one checking their spam like crazy lol Shanesmommy, this may seem tedious, but around what time was your email sent out and what exactly did it say?
  17. does anyone else have a difficult time getting in touch with their advisor? I feel like every time I call, it always goes to voicemail.
  18. Thanks for the heads up, I just checked mine and found that my adviser's emails have been going there instead of my inbox! Come to find out they need a couple other transcripts, even though I was told last month that everything has been received. I will be contacting my advisor tomorrow morning, but I hope this doesnt impede on my chances. Hopefully this doesnt cause me to have to wait until August for a decision! Again, thanks for the info and congrats!
  19. Has anyone heard anything from Chamberlain regarding the first round of decisions? I was under the impression that they were meeting the the first part of the month.
  20. you can only apply once per calendar year
  21. When and how did they notify you that you didn't get in?
  22. I talked to my advisor earlier this month via email and she told me that they will be reviewing fall files at the end of the month (June) and we should receive notification early next month (July) via email. I hope this is useful info to anyone interested. Fingers crossed :)
  23. Remember that Ryonaki also stated that he knew of "30 people with 4.0's and 87% TEAS" but never backed up that statement either. Take it with a grain of salt. We should all know by the end of the week. Good luck to everyone!
  24. actually, my papers say 5 of 30. not sure if these numbers indicate anything.
  25. i remember seeing the thread you're talking about. from what i understand it is possible that is the number of people who applied and had all the requirements. unfortunately, the school won't tell you information like that. they keep it so secretive. i guess it is worth a shot though. hopefully there are only 122 applicants. since there are 80 spots that would be a 66% acceptance, not including alternates. let's all keep our fingers crossed that the number of applicants is around that or lower!
