yes take the practice test. There will be a few questions on it that you will see on the exam. It will also familiarize you with the format of the test, and give you an idea of the level of difficulty. It's worth the money.

I think it is a scam. They give you the "award", then try to get you to buy a book which lists you and the other "winners". You do get something for your money, but the award is pretty much meaningless to other schools and colleges.

Awkward, I am in the same boat as you. I am taking 2 pre reqs. right now and will have 3 in the spring. Hoping my Teas score and essays will make a difference. I'm not sure how strongly the pre-reqs in progress count against us.

I took the Teas this past Saturday at Samuel Merritt. Logged on this afternoon and got the results. I'm happy to say I got an 88.8 composite. 97.5 reading, 88.9 math, 80.0 science and 89.1 english. Whew! I'm happy I won't have to take it again!
